Government Liability

Local, state and federal government all have enormous effect on our lives. Most of us view them as there to help us and provide appropriate government services. That is not always the case. Sometimes government agencies are negligent and reckless. When that happens government can be liable for injuries.

When county highway departments and state highway departments fail to maintain roads and highways they cause highway defects and those highway defects cause injuries to both pedestrians and drivers. While it is our hope that government investigators do thorough and careful investigation sometimes police become help us that is not always the case.
